Hello, I have successfully installed my server and websites with ispconfig. Now I am trying to get my Outlook Pop email working. I have questions:
    1) does ispconfig generate pop3 file that will work with outlook?
    2) is IMAP a better choice for ispconfig/outlook?
    3) trying to test my outlook with IMAP but I cannot find a way to change my outlook account from pop3 to IMAP. Does anyone know if it's possible to change an account from pop3 to IMAP in outlook?

    Thank you!
    Tom

POP3 is not a file, its a protocol to fetch emails. And yes, you can use any mail client which supports pop3 protocol to fetch emails from your ISPConfig server, incl. Outlook.

Depends on what you want to do. If email shall be stored on the server, then you use IMAP. if email shall be stored on the client, then you use POP3.

I don't use Outlook. If you can't change it, you might have to delete it and create it again.
