Hi, Just occasionally found some great stuff here: https://www.howtoforge.com/list-of-downloadable-vmware-images Possibly it makes sense to use one of these images instead of my own setup (My new ISPConfig server will run as virtualized appliance under KVM/oVirt). Q: What happens with user & group numbers when data (mostly web files) is being copied with ISPConfig migration tool from one distro (SuSE) to another (CentOS or Ubuntu)? I'm not sure that www/wwrun # are same, but I may be wrong here. Thanks in advance for any suggestion(s).
The migration tool imports data into ispconfig, it does not make an exact copy, that's why you can use it to migrate an ISPConfig server to a different OS.
