Ownership change of site

Discussion in 'Tips/Tricks/Mods' started by Marcio Urakawa, Sep 19, 2020.

  1. I need to change ownership of a website for another user.
I can see this through the interface and I can update.

But when I go to the directory through the terminal, it still appears to be the old owner.
And if I create an FTP user with the new owner, the program will not connect.

Select the new owner in the client selector field in ISPConfig and press save.

  3. I did.
    After change:

It appears in the interface that this new user is the owner.

    But my problem is here:

After the change the owner should be a client35, but it continues as if it were the old client.
And with that when connecting to FTP it gives an error.

It does not appear in the screenshot.
Did you log to ISPConfig as admin when you changed owner? What does the ISPConfig Panel show as Client for that website when logged in as admin?
    What shows
    Code:
    ls -lhd /var/www/clients/client14/web68

The shown ID is the ID of the website, not the client.

Owners and group onwers are both wrong in your first screen.
In second screen, if the ls listings are complete the directories are missing the web68 directories.
I do not know how your ISPConfig creates such bonkers directories. Something is confused.
Do not care about those symbolic links, only examine the real directories.
