Okay got Centos 5.2 everything is installed and seems to be working fine. Only one problem my router doesnt seem to see it so I can configure the ports to it. I can view all my other folders on the network and even connect to the internet. Just when I go into my Router's Firewall it shows that computer not to exist on the network.

okay I am setting it up as a webserver. I am replacing my Win Adv Server with this one.

When I log into my router to change the firewall setting to route the ports to this machine my router does NOT show this computer as a choice to select.
It is not showing up in my router for some reason. I did not know if there was something not turned or something else that needs to be on for it to send something to it to SAY hello I am on the network or something

Have you tried to disable the firewall on your CentOS system?

Thanks, I got it to work it was showing up as a different IP for some reason in the firewall than what it was post to be. I noticed it when i was comparing Mac address.
