Hi, I have gone trough the fedora 13+ispconfig3 install and no DNS is installed on the process (and you will get the warning on the server status). Is there a reason for this ? Regards, Federico
Just looked a bit further and it seems that BIND9 was installed as default but didn't work. I had an error with the fact that the .local did not exist. BIND9 now works, but ISPCONFIG3 looks for myDNS-Server
Hi, I don't think I Explained myself correctly. I followed the Perfect Fedora 13 + ISPCONFIG3 in HowtoForge and no DNS installation exists on the instructions. I tried the BIND thing as it's how it works on ISPCONFIG2 but after that I saw that tISPCONFIG 3 looks for MyDNS Was just wondering why is it missing on the Guide. Is it done in purpose ? BTW. I used the latest (as of yesterday)
The fedora 13 guide installs bind: http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect-server-fedora-13-x86_64-ispconfig-3-p5 step 17.
