Hi, I posted my help request on comment of the tuturial and now in the right place...I hope. I used "The Perfect Server - Ubuntu 15.04 (Vivid Vervet) with Apache, PHP, MySQL, PureFTPD, BIND, Postfix, Dovecot and ISPConfig 3" and my actual result is : I cannot receive mail for Relay access denied From /var/log/mail.log I see // quote 454 4.7.1 Relay access denied; from... // unquote Let me explain what happen during installation, what I have done and which are my actual mail.cf 1) mail.cf was missing, I discovered it when I run the "newaliases" command // quote newaliases: fatal: open /etc/postfix/main.cf: No such file or directory // unquote 2) postfix is not running, main.cf is missing 3) I removed postfix and I reinstalled it again, after installation a message asked me: if you need mail.cfg ... use cp /usr/share/postfix/main.cf.debian /etc/postfix/main.cf and then service postfix restart I copied the file and restarted the service. Postfix is running but I am abel to send message from roundcube but I cannot receive message from outside "relay access denied". Maybe this step broken the ispconfig installation? 4) I think it would be useful run an update of ispconfig. So I tried ispconfig_update.sh but no new version find and the script didnt update my configuration. 5) Vincent, on the tutorial comments, wrote he got the same ussue of mine, main.cf missing, and he fixed it using dpkg-reconfigure postfix I tried it with no luck, I am still getting replay access denied. if you installed a fresh main.cf (not mail.cf): cd /tmp wget http://www.ispconfig.org/downloads/ISPConfig-3-stable.tar.gz tar xvfz ISPConfig-3-stable.tar.gz cd ispconfig3_install/install php -q update.php and choose Yes for reconfigure services.
