After updating to 22.04 I had some issues with Mariadb, however I resolved those problems by doing an upgrade to Mariadb.
However now any attempts to access Roundcube webmail gives me an error

I have a feeling it may be a password issue as
    Code:
    mysql -u roundcube -p
    returns
    Clues?

Reset the password and change it in the Roundcube config.

OK - do you have a good link that I can refer to for detailed instructions, thanks

I am seeming to go around ind in circles here. I managed to reset 'roundcube'@'localhost password but still had issues so I purged Roundcube and tried to reinstall as per some of the tutorials that are here but it seems I can only get as far as the following error.

Just hoping I don't have to end up doing a full server reinstall

How did you upgrade MariaDB? I hope you did not install a newer MariaDB version than what is shipped with your OS as default, as this likely breaks your system.

There you go then - that is my issue, I had to do an upgrade to latest version of MariaDB to get rid of the error I had with
    following the upgrade to 22.04
So I guess it's a new install of the Perfect Server then, unless there is a process to roll back to the MariaDB version that shipped as default with 22.04?
