Hi all, I managed to install ISPConfig based on perfect setup with CentOS. However am facing some problem of which i just dont know where am going wrong. Here is how i set it up.(Keep in mind this is only for intranet(within my network only) My linux box ip address is 192.168.0.20 and its name is wserver.xyz.or.tz where xyz.or.tz my network domain name. After installing ISPConfing, during site setup i found server ip address as default ip for the site. Also i gave the same hostname and domain name just like i did during CentOS installation. After that, i proceed with the site setup to the end plus create user with ftp access. There after, i decided to upload my web file via ftp. But unfortunately i got this message " chmod failed". I just dont know why this happen. Later on i try to acces the site via its ip address(because i it fail when i use its name http://wserver.xyz.or.tz) and i got this msg. " This IP address is shared. For access to the web site which you look for, enter its address instead of its IP." What am i doing wrong? Can anyone show me the correct way on how to do this within my network. I LOVE ISPConfig but i just cant figure my way out. Thank you all in advance.
You selected the wrong IP address for the website, you must use the internal IP for the website, the IP where you forwarded port 80 to in your router.
