Hi im new to fedora and a bit daft in the head and have just completed the setup of my fedora server successfully:
    http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect_setup_fedora_core_5_p6

Ive also setup the "No ftp access for clients" at the bottom of the page.

Now it all seems to work fine - Ive put a test page in the www/html folder and i can see it from a different machine on my network. I can even view it externally with my router pointing to it via the port forwarding.

Question is: how do I ftp?

I usually ftp via windows explorer or dreamweaver to remote servers and have an ftp address, user name and password. I want to be able to ftp to this either internally via another comp or externally. If i try my local ip address for that server i cant log on. I assume i need to set something up on the server??

not sure what to do next - any pointers anyone?

    thanks

You can easily setup FTP users in ISPConfig after you installed it.

Please make sure you download the correct file. This can be a little bit confusing on SourceForge.
