I have shared a folder called programs on my ubuntu server and maped a network drive to it in windows thru a login script. my problem is when a user such as doug creates a folder on the the mapped network drive it has the permissions of him being the owner and user. So nobody else has acsess to it. the only thing i can do at the moment is reset the permissions for every folder on in the shared folder everytime someone creates a folder with is an administration nightmare. What im trying to achieve is a shared folder on the network that only the admin users have acsess to but the permissions mean any admin can delete and create folders

This is my first network using ubuntu and samba and i am well impressed so far with what i can do with it

any help would be greatly appreciated
