Hi I have installed Debian 5 following The Perfect Server - Debian Lenny (Debian 5.0) With MyDNS & Courier Everthing seams to work ok untill we try to login to phpmyAdmin. We get the login screen, in the username box are they symbols: �K��/�k� Password box is blank I change the username to a user or root and enter the password, then we get the following error: #1045 - Access denied for user 'üKë½/ökß'@'localhost' (using password: YES) I can login to mysql by using the commandline, either has a user or as root and see all the databases as root or as user there databases I have uninstalled PhpMyAdmin and reinstalled it. What can be causing this to happen ? Cheers Scorp Update Sorted, I cleared all my cookies and then worked fine.
