PHPMYADMIN stopped working for account generated DB access after Debian 9 upgrade

    I updated to Debian 9 a few weeks ago, and I had not tested PHPMYADMIN.
    My "root" account works, but none of the accounts created through the dashboard seems to work:
    They get:
    [​IMG] #1045 - Access denied for user ''@'localhost' (using password: YES)
    Any ideas to what it could be?

    Disregard. I synced the databases from the tools section of the panel and the problem went away.
