Don't unpack the .pkg file on your desktop!
You have to upload the .pkg file to the Update Manager!

I still am not following the proper way to get this to work. I have unzipped it and sent it and i have just sent the zipped file which is the proper way to do this? i can not start http, I get this error:

    root@divine /home/admispconfig/ispconfig/web/tools# service httpd start
Starting httpd: Syntax error on line 48 of /etc/httpd/conf/vhosts/Vhosts_ispconf ig.conf:
Invalid command 'php_admin_flag', perhaps mis-spelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration
    [FAILED]

    Where did I screw up?

As I said before: don't unpack the file! You have to upload the .pkg file, not a .zip or anything else.

    Which distribution do you use?
