Hello, Just doing a couple of ping tests today, i have a network (192.168.11.0). All connections are CAT 6 and all tests are from the same machine. Here is the setup: Computer -> Router/Hub <- Server If i ping my Server i get a ping time of 0.19ms. Yet if i ping my router i get a ping time of 0.51ms. How is this possible, if the ping request has to go though the router before getting to the receiving machine? Surely it should be around 0.7ms to ping my server due to the latency of the router... Any ideas, i am quite confused? Marty
