Please help me! i am tired to keep writing every subdomain i am creating,to my C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts file.So..this is how it was...i was working on a website,on a subdomain of a domain that i bought last month.Everything was fine until one moment when i tried to connect to my subdomain.I checked on my friends,and they can see my subdomain,but i am the only one that doesn`t.So when i type in my browser (e.g.www.n-close.com) ,everything is fine..but when i type (gui.n-close.com)..it says that the page cannot be displayed or something like that.Please help me .it was something like a minute to another.now it works,a second later stoped working.srry for my bad english.thank you
add "gui.n-close.com" also to your "C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts" file. Also please try to post with a "us full" topic name. A "Please HELP ME!" does not really make any sense.
did u add that subdomain to the mydns an quick and dirty way i found to work in testing only is to add * to the mydomain.lan and any subdomains i have on mydomain.lan like sql.mydomain.lan mail.mydomain.lan vdb.mydomain.lan and some other can be found also any fake like admin.mydomian.lan -> goes to the default
