Okay so I'm seriously gonna send a donation to you all after this one, just tell me how...

Now, I've been waiting on EBAY to send an email for my forgotten passwords to my email address dg @ derekgordon.com and it hasn't ever been received. I tried emailing myself, as well as other email addresses on that domain, and they alike aren't coming through either. I'm logging in with my Outlook 07 just fine to the server... What would keep mail from being delivered? Spamassassin and Antivirus aren't in use for that domain whatsoever... I think but am not positive that other people are receiving their mail on their domains as noone has been complaining...

    NAMED:

NS 207.150.163.131. ; Inet Address of name server 2

    MX 10 mail.derekgordon.com.

    derekgordon.com. A 207.150.163.134
    www A 207.150.163.134

Is it the MX record being the problem? Being that there's two MX entries is that bad? How about the second entry not having a DNS resolution (mail.derekgordon.com)? How can I resolve this for future domain additions?

    But it is resolved:
    Code:
    # nslookup mail.derekgordon.com

    Non-authoritative answer:
    Name: mail.derekgordon.com
    Address: 207.150.163.135

Yeah I just added that entry after I made the post... I figured I'd add it and give it TTY propagation time while I was teaching a class so that now I can test EBAY once more... And that fixed it it seems. the MX issue was the problem... I don't know what the heck that was there like that for... Hmm... So I guess all MX records should be something like "MX 10 www.domain.tld" then and not "MX 10 mail.domain.tld" unless an A record exists for the mail.domain.tld? Hmm....

At any rate, Till send me a way to Paypal you some cash. You've done a lot of great help for me and I wanna toss a few dollars to help with the ISPConfig project (especially the new branch!!! :) )
