    Also if i login squirrel mail I can send emails from the account just fine.

    Any help would be great. Thanks in advance for writing a responds.

    UPDATE: I am only having this problem with the main server domain. If i add another domain to ispconfig i have no problems at all! Also if I put the ip address in my email client it works must be a dns problem! though nslookup for mail.mydomain.net comes up with the right ip.

    Please change the line:

    mydomain = mydomain.net

    to:

    mydomain = mail.mydomain.net

    and restart postfix. Also change the domain name in /etc/mailname to mail.mydomain.net and then add mydomain.net as email domain in ispconfig.
