Not going to open another topic for this, but I've got a new problem. The server always says my password is wrong (but I DO enter it CORRECT). Someone who knows how to fix it? Recorded a movie from how I create step by step a new email and try it in a webmail client. You can download the movie here (+-16MB, extracted +-26MB): http://cl.ly/2o232j081V2v11422530
Oops. I now realized that I haven't set the DNS yet. I have now set my DNS like this (is this correct?). But still no luck. This is what I expected to see (tried it on the localhost) This is what I get to see (remote, from home) Thanks
Please make sure that all services are running, e.g. Postfix and Dovecot, that they are listening on all interfaces, and that no firewall is blocking their ports. Check the outputs of Code: netstat -tap and Code: iptables -L .
Hello, First of all, thank you for trying to help me. It's like you're the only one who wants to help me atm (posted this issue on 3 other forums and nobody responds). So I tried your commands, and at the first one I can see tha smtp, imaps, imap, pop3 and pop3s are running. Output for netstat -tap: http://pastebin.com/p21NakHg Output for iptables -L: http://pastebin.com/4YNQ0ccZ PS: I couldn't paste it here on the forum, got the error that the message was too short but I guess it was too long. And again, thanks for helping me. I hope we'll fix it soon. Best Regards, WouterDS

It's strange that for POP3 and POP3S, it says "dovecot", while for your IMAP daemon, it says "imap-login". On my Debian Testing server it says "dovecot" for all four, so I guess you have some other daemon that Dovecot running for IMAP. Please stop it and restart Dovecot.
