I have 2 mx servers running postfix/postgrey/blacklist/userauth they then pass to my Barracuda spam/virus servers A few times while the Barracuda tech support has been checking the systems/doing maintainence they wiped out our settings and mail was bounced. I want to not transport the mail to the barracuda's while they are working on it. and just HOLD the mail on my MX servers untill they are done. What would be a good way to do this? increase que time? remove the entry in the transport file temporarily?
You can put mails into the HOLD queue with the poatsuper command: http://www.linuxcommand.org/man_pages/postsuper1.html But I'm not sure if that affects only mails that are already in the queue, or also new mails.
That looks like it will work perfect Falko thanks then I can just do a postsuper -H ALL to release thanks a ton
I spoke to soon That took a current incoming que and stoped it.. then proceeded to continue to send new messages to the Barracuda's Any other ideas?
