i recently reinstalled my VPS from a tutorial on here, i have centOS with postfix and dovecot, sending email is fine but when i reply i get a bounce back and the error is (i have replaced my info with xxx) The mail system <[email protected]>: unknown user: "xxx" i seem to remember before i might of had to alter the hosts file or the main.cf file but i cant find the info anywhere. does anyone have help they can provide
Which tutorial (URL) did you use? Does the MX record of your domain point to the correct server? You can find that out with this command: Code: dig mx yourdomain.com
