    Hi.
I have a custumer that uses Postfix redirect to his Exchange for incoming emails, but also wants to send outgoing via same SMTP-server, not from their Exchange. So i test create a Email account for sending, but didnt work. (sorry no log at the moment).
Is that possible in ispconfig ? Or is it even possible at all manually in Postfix?
I had to use another SMTP server for this to work.

You can do this by creating a mailbox in ISPConfig, but you have to use a different domain name and as you can't sue his domain when it#s forwarded and the option to enforce that the from address of emails must match the mailbox that is used for sending must be off.

If he uses a fixed IP for his exchange system, then the easiest way is to add this IP to mynetworks in postfix main.cf to allow sending from that IP without authentication.

Thanks, ofc i didnt think of your simple solutions ;-)
Suggestion then, make admin setting for changing postfix mynetworks.
