You should some more warnings / errors in the mail.log when you (re)start postfix. Did you check, that the master.cf is correct?

Hello Florian, I've followed the following tutorial : howtoforge.com/tutorial/perfect-server-ubuntu-16.04-with-apache-php-myqsl-pureftpd-bind-postfix-doveot-and-ispconfig/ and the only refence related to the modification of master.cf is the following: Uncomment the submission and smtps sections as follows - add the line -o smtpd_client_restrictions=permit_sasl_authenticated,reject to both sections and leave everything thereafter commented: I haven't seen any other modification provided to the respective file.
