    Hi all,

I have a problem with whitelisting, whenever I add a domain in the global postfix whitelist in my multiserver setup, it does not seem to be applied as the same server keeps being rejected for a domain that I have whitelisted as "sender_txt".

    Sep 28 07:54:17 pro4fun postfix/smtpd[11311]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from remote.toffs.com[88.96.177.118]: 450 4.7.1 <remote.toffs.com>: Helo command rejected: Host not found; from=<[email protected]> to=<[email protected]> proto=ESMTP helo=<remote.toffs.com>

What am i getting wrong ?

the server on the over side is clearly misconfigured as remote.toffs.com is not resolving but I have to accept the email.

    Thank you!

Whitelisting applies to SPAM control, the mail is rejected beforehand.

I got it, it has been rejected by postfix due to this line in main.cf : reject_unknown_helo_hostname. I commented it out. But is there another ways that does not imply manually modifying main.cf ?

No, not that I know of, they have a severe misconfiguration of their mailserver, because it is using a wrong fqdn. They should fix it...
