    Hello,

    I've been reading postfix, dovecot documentations for almost 2 weeks.
    I also have been reading your posts that google could find regarding my problem with postfix/dovecot and I still couldn't find any solution.

    [mail.log]:
    postfix/submission/smtpd[20742]: connect from mail.myhost.tld[x.y.z.t]
    postfix/submission/smtpd[20742]: lost connection after CONNECT from mail.myhost.tld[x.y.z.t]
    postfix/submission/smtpd[20742]: disconnect from mail.myhost.tld[x.y.z.t]

    [dovecot.log]:
    imap-login: Warning: SSL: where=0x10, ret=1: before/accept initialization [127.0.0.1]
    imap-login: Warning: SSL: where=0x2001, ret=1: before/accept initialization [127.0.0.1]
    imap-login: Warning: SSL: where=0x2002, ret=-1: unknown state [127.0.0.1]
    imap-login: Warning: SSL: where=0x2002, ret=-1: unknown state [127.0.0.1]
    imap-login: Warning: SSL: where=0x2002, ret=-1: unknown state [127.0.0.1]
    imap-login: Info: Disconnected (no auth attempts in 14 secs): user=<>, rip=127.0.0.1, lip=127.0.0.1, TLS handshaking: SSL_accept() failed: error:140760FC:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_CLIENT_HELLO:unknown protocol, session=<oNL+i2jxlwB/AAAB>

    Telnet works for both mail.myhost.tld:25 / mail.myhost.tld:587 and 127.0.0.1:993.
    Both postfix and dovecot are configured to use at least TLSv1, no SSLv2/SSLv3.

    Any hints please?
    Thank you.
