    Hello

I am having a problem with postfix, I installed postfix2.4 from source and I started the postfix but when I telnet localhost 25, it stop at Escape character is '^]'. Then I checked the maillog:

    Apr 8 08:41:01 cl-t037-410cl postfix/master[29216]: warning: process /usr/libexec/postfix/proxymap pid 29377 exit status 1
    Apr 8 08:41:01 cl-t037-410cl postfix/master[29216]: warning: /usr/libexec/postfix/proxymap: bad command startup -- throttling
    Apr 8 08:41:01 cl-t037-410cl postfix/smtpd[29272]: warning: private/proxymap socket: service dict_proxy_open: Connection reset by peer
    Apr 8 08:42:01 cl-t037-410cl postfix/proxymap[29378]: fatal: fcntl F_DUPFD: Invalid argument

How can I fix fcntl F_DUPFD: Invalid argument ?

    Thanks

    William

Just curious: Isn't there a package available for your system?

Fedora has also a packager and I'm pretty mcuh sure that postfix is as package available in fedora so that you don't have to compile it yourself.
