Hi all, Not sure exactly what is going on, however, here are the details. 1) got a call from a client who is running "The Perfect Debian setup" with ISPconfig. Port 25 has been blocked by their provider due to spamming. I checked the mail.log and syslog and sure enough I'm seeing all kinds of messages. 2) I blocked some foreign IP's which appeared to be connecting to port 25 (ie Romania). 3) My first thoughts are that there is a machine on the network that is causing the problem, but I did not have time to go and test everything so I will try to get there tomorrow. 4) I installed some restrictive measures that Falko discusses in this thread. Hopefully this will have a positive impact. I'm currently monitoring. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I will post further tomorrow as I get on site and evaluate the network. Thanks, Ken
