postfix/smtpd[5194]: warning: xx.xxx.xxx.xx: hostname xx-xxx-xx-xx.host.name

    hello,

    since upgrading to 3.5.0.1 the server shows permanent postfix warnings, also some clients told me they wouldn't receive all emails. Pasted a log here.
    excerpt:
    postfix/smtpd[5194]: warning: xx.xxx.xxx.xx: hostname xx-xxx-xxx-xx.fibertel.com.ar verification failed: Name or service not known

    Check that the dns servers in /etc/resolv.conf are correct and reachable from your server.

    thanks till, resolv.conf holds only

    my local gateway IP:

    the gateway has dns servers: 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4

    is that correct?

    but as you see above there's another curious output in the warnings since today.

    hostnames match

    the hostname is already set correctly.
