    Hello!
I have used this guide to setup my mail/web server:
    http://www.howtoforge.com/virtual_postfix_mysql_quota_courier_ubuntu_edgy

    It's working perfectly :)

But today i run into a problem using mailman for mail lists..
Mailman is installed successfully, and is up and running with apache. The only thing not working is sending/receiving mail to the mail-list.

    The smtp server returns this:
    <[email protected]>: host mail.example.com[xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] said:
    550 5.1.1 <[email protected]>: Recipient address rejected: User
unknown in virtual mailbox table (in reply to RCPT TO command)

This reply is similar with the other mailman adresses (like mailman-owner@).
How can i setup this to work with my configuration?

    OS: Ubuntu 7.10 - 2.6.20-16-server

Nope. I have only used /etc/aliases to create mailman email adresses.
So if i create [email protected], wouldnt that only create a normal email inbox, like: [email protected]?

    That's right.

Do you use example.com for virtual email accounts, or for email accounts of system users (you cannot have both)?

I use example.com for virtual users yes..
But, when creating [email protected] i would need a password and stuff. How does mailman communicate then?
