I have installed a SSL Key and edited /root/ispconfig/httpd/conf/httpd.conf to use the bought key.

Everytime I update ISPConfig the httpd.conf files gets rewritten and all the settings are lost.

It would be great if ISPConfig would use one of these options:
    1. Does not overwrite httpd.conf if already exists
    2. Use of customized_templates folder like with isp settings (/root/ispconfig/isp/conf/customized_templates/)

    Thanks!

The SSL key and cert is already preserved. Do not edit httpd.conf, instead replace just the ssl key and cert that ispconfig generated during initial stup with the key that you bought. ISPConfig preserves your bught certificate then.
