email problem: 554 too many hops 20 (20) A friend is trying to send me an email (with his official ISP email), but he keeps getting it back with an error message 554 too many hops 20 (20) in it. When I send an email to myself through hotmail, gmail or my ISP's email (not the same ISP as the trouble one) address, I do receive them fine. So .. Is this 554 too many hops 20 (20) problem caused by a bad setup on my server, or is it my friends ISP that is the problem? (he is not having email problems to other people!)
ok.. problem solved.. The ISP's server was setup wrong (they just did some work to the DNS)? All is working fine again..
