Problem after hostname change

Hello

i have set new hostname via ispconfig in server oconfig, now i can not connect with db and get error
Database Error: Cannot connect to [0]

MySQL server has gone away

any ideas what should i did wrong? or where i can back hostname? In ispconfig was xy524 and i set to xy524.example.net

i can not bakc it to xy524

 

Probably solved. In db confiig i had to change hostname to 127.0.0.1

 

Is this a single server ISPConfig setup?
You may need to refer to the ISPConfig manual to see what entries the host needs in the database user table.

 

Yes, but problem was solved. Hostname was changed fine, but in this case i had to use new hostname for db - 127.0.0.1 and not what i use before just xy524
That is vps with preinstalled ispconfig.
