I upgraded my ISPConfig3 and after that I cannot send and receive e-mails. Mysql is running and is OK, Postfix is running. I can telnet on 25 and 110 but authentication with sql stopped working. Web sites are OK. Could you please help where is the problem? Thank you, Miki
1) Which Linux distribution do you use? 2) Post the output of: netstat -tap | grep imap 3) Post the error that you get in the mail.log file.
1) Debian 2.6.26-2-686 2) ns:/etc/postfix# netstat -tap | grep imap tcp6 0 0 [::]:imaps [::]:* LISTEN 2984/couriertcpd tcp6 0 0 [::]:imap2 [::]:* LISTEN 2972/couriertcpd 3) Relay domains are working, incoming mails are going but outgoing mails from users in sql database are not working. here is output: Apr 17 14:44:53 ns postfix/smtpd[11660]: warning: 188.120.5.12: hostname host-188-120-5-12.e-max.sk verification failed: Name or service not known Apr 17 14:44:53 ns postfix/smtpd[11660]: connect from unknown[188.120.5.12] Apr 17 14:44:53 ns postfix/smtpd[11660]: warning: unknown[188.120.5.12]: SASL LOGIN authentication failed: authentication failure Apr 17 14:44:53 ns postfix/smtpd[11660]: lost connection after AUTH from unknown[188.120.5.12] Apr 17 14:44:53 ns postfix/smtpd[11660]: disconnect from unknown[188.120.5.12]

The main.cf seems to be ok. Please let the ispconfig updater reconfigure your system, to do this, rerun the update as described in the manual update instructions here: http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56854 during update choose to reconfigure services when the updater asks you.
