Hi all, this is my first time around here and my name is Javier, nice to meet everyone. Also it is my first time using ISPConfig. (Sorry for my english). Well, I have a ISPConfig 3 instalation on a debian lenny server that runs fine, however, I didn't found a user manual for ISPConfig 3 for fix my problem, and that is the reason that im here. I have a DNS Server who has the mission to resolve the names for my domain, and i choose ISPConfig because soon we will have to manage 3 more domains and it will hard for me manage the mails, quotas, etc, for each domain. So i need put to work the servers together, the DNS server for resolve my domains and the ISPConfig for show the sites and manage the mails, ftp, etc. The DNS Server IP is: x.x.x.130 and the ISPConfig IP is: x.x.x.137 In the zone "domain.com.zone" of my DNS i have: www.domain.com. IN A x.x.x.137 But when i go to www.domain.com in my web browser, the browser shows the "it works" apache's page. I was thinking about put Virtual Hosts to the apache for each site, but maybe the ISPConfig have some config that i dont know for do this. I really appreciate your help. Regards, Javier.
1) Use the dns record to create the dns zones for every domain that you want to use to ensure that your dns zone really contains all nescessary records. 2) create werbsite in ispconfig's sites module for every domain. There you have to ensure that you selected the correct IP address for the domain so that they match the IP addresses that you used for the DNS record.
