I can receive an email from any site eg yahoo etc. but I can't send. I want to make a hosting server only for the company where I work to host only the company sites
Are all the following requirements fulfilled? host must have Internet connection with port 25 open both ways host has a fixed IP-address host must have A record for its IP-address (or AAAA if using IPv6) you must create MX record to DNS name service for the host you must get host reverse DNS name service PTR record that matches hosts FQDN
I guess the test you used checked port 25 incoming, the issue with not being able to send is smtp port 25 outgoing, so it#s the other direction. Where do you host that server and which internet connection does the server use to connect to the internet? The most likely resaon is that your internet provider or datacenter (e.g. amazon aws does it) blocks port 25 outgoing.
