    Hello,

    Installed a debian etch system by following the perfect guide, along with the ISPConfig installation. In addition I followed the forum post for allowing [email protected] logon through the webmail client.

    The system seems to be working just fine, with the single exception of not being able to send email.

    I've had a look through the logs, and whenever I try to send an email this pops up in mail.err and mail.warn;
    imapd: /etc/courier/shared/index: No such file or directory

    The shared folder does not exist, I created it manually but I guess I can't just do a "touch index" for the file?

    Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Sending mails doesn't have anything to do with IMAP, so this error should be unrelated. What's in the mail log when you try to send an email?

    Sorry for the late reply but eventually found the error. Someone had changed the relay allow list... Fixed that and the errors went away. Let's just say that someone lost their account privileges.
