    Hello!

I currently have a soundproblem with my Debian Etch. The problem is that my ALSA sound system only recognize one of my sound devices after that I have activated ALSACONF.

I also need to reactive ALSACONF by hand after every reboot, not very funny. :-(

By random I managed to get ALSA to work with all my three sound devices but this only happened by random and only one time so far this has happened, like winning money on a lottery... kind of.

These are my 3 sound devices:
    Intel ICH5 Via soundchip
Soundblaster Audigy ZS2 (my primary card which is used most of the time.)
    Sennheiser USB headset

So.. do anyone know how I can fix this? Should I perhaps reinstall ALSA? :-/

    What exactly did you do?

    What do you mean?

If you mean what I did to cause the problem in the first place, then the problem started after I had installed ALSACONF, but I don't remember why I installed ALSACONF. I know that I read in a discussion forum that this would be a smart thing to do.

Ok, are there any error messages in your logs?
