An A record tells the DNS server what IP address to use for a host name. For example, you can set www.yourdomain.com to point to a specific IP, and test.yourdomain.com to point to an other specific IP
Ok! I have my hosting. I tell to main DNS in my country, that I want to use my ns server in my hosting. Thei write my ns.domain.com as nameserver. For what it needs? ns server! if I can tell main DNS in my country to write A record for this domain. DNS in my hosting ISPConfig need only for use in local network? Sorry, but I can understand this thing! Thank you!
If you want to run your own DNS servers, take a look here: http://www.howtoforge.com/ispconfig_dns_godaddy http://www.howtoforge.com/ispconfig_dns_providerdomain_schlund If the nameservers are run by your registrar, then you must create the A record in your registrar's web interface.
