Hello, please help. After reinstalling Debian 12 to Debian 13, IMAP and POP3 services stopped running in ISPConfig 3.3.0p2. How to start these services? Thank you Martin Web-Server: running FTP-Server: running SMTP-Server: running POP3-Server: not running IMAP-Server: not running DNS-Server: running MySQL-Server: running
You can not update an ISPConfig system to Debian 13, as ISPConfig does not support it yet. Dovecot changed its config entirely, so the email service can not work on Debian 13 until we build a new config for it. Please always check on the ISPConfig website if ISPConfig supports a specific OS version before you upgrade. You must either restore your previos system before update or try to manually configure it based on this early merge request: https://git.ispconfig.org/ispconfig/ispconfig3/-/merge_requests/2046/diffs
You can't downgrade Debian. Either you have backups of the system and can restore them that way or you need to deploy new machines and set it up correctly.
Hello, I'm more of a beginner. Please help me how to do a manual configuration based on an earlier merge request? ( https://git.ispconfig.org/ispconfig/ispconfig3/-/merge_requests/2046/diffs ) Thank you Martin
You cannot run ISPConfig on Debian 13. It's not only Dovecot that will not work properly. Right now use Debian 12.
