But 9.10 doesn't come with a 2.6.35 kernel; the correct kernel for 9.10 is 2.6.31: http://packages.ubuntu.com/search?keywords=linux-image&searchon=names&suite=karmic§ion=all How did you install the 2.6.35 kernel?
