Problem with proftp

    Im try to connect via ftp with a user created in ispconfig and filezilla show me that:

    if choose insecure encryption in filezilla i can connect.

    Please use the search function in the forum, it has been explained many times that FileZilla has released an update which makes filezilla incompatible with older pure-ftpd versions. Either use an older FileZilla version or a newer pure-ftpd version or use a different FTP client like FireFTP or WinSCP in FTP mode.

    How could I know the version of proftpd that I have installed? I'm trying to find out but I think I don't have it installed.

    Your screenshot shows you have Pure-FTPd installed.
    I do no know what operating system that host has, but surely any OS can show what version of an application is installed.
