Problem with version check

    Hi all,
    since the update to 3.2.10, I have the problem that the check for a new version doesn't work correctly anymore.
    Additionally, it seems that the news feed is also not working anymore.
    Could you please help me to fix this issue?


    Btw.: Is it normal, that no ISPConfig newsletter was sent for the last updates? That was a nice service, because I am not too often logged in in the dashboard.

    Seems as if your system cannot connect to the ISPConfig website anymore, as the news on the left is not up to date. First, try to log out and then log in again into ISPConfig, does the news on the left get updated?

    Well, call me maybe stupid :D
    That's probably the easiest solution and the first try for every technical problem: "restart". Yes, it works now again after a logout and login. Thank you!

    Regarding the other question: is it normal, that there was no newsletter for the last updates?

    Not normal. I just missed sending it. I published the release just on the website, Twitter and facebook. I'll send it again next time.

    Thanks for the answer. It was just a question, if there are technical reasons on our side. But then, everything is fine :)

    I don't think there is a technical reason, you just had this user session open since at least February and some things get cached in the session. We should probably clear out some data in the session after a certain time automatically instead of relying on that users log out again from time to time :)
