Problem with web-ftp

    Hi there,

I am running ISPconfig on SUSE 11.1, and I am having some trouble with proftpd (I think...).

When I first install, everything works fine. Then I create a empty website. I use web-ftp in the control panel to create a new folder 'administration' in the 'web' folder. Still works fine. Then I try to protect the folder with a user/password - and next time I try to log in to web-ftp I get the usual two windows. But in both of them says "Could not connect to localhost".

Further, the monitor now shows that the FTP-server is offline - but I can still FTP files to and from the site. Restart does not seem to work either, so I restarted FTP from a linux-terminal window. That did not change anything, neither does a reboot of the machine.

I realy like the possibility to make HTTP protection of folders, so please help me with this.

    Best regards

    Niels
