I've been following the tutorial on how to do a server Ubuntu Install for Brezzy Badger. http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect_setup_ubuntu_5.10_p3 Everything is fine until I try to run the commands: apt-get update or apt-get install. I get this: gpg Temporary failure resolving 'security-ubuntu.com' Reading packages lists... Done W: Couldn't stat source package list Being a relative newcomer I need some idea on what to read & or do to get this fixed.... peace Michael
I fixed it... I did a restart. And then went into /etc/network/interfaces again, opened up my router info check for accuracy. Found one mistake. I also added the dns nameserver entries. Now the updates are Get:X = # And then the prompt: Reading package lists.... Done How everyone is having a fine ole day...
