Hi everyone, Brand new to this forum and hope that someone can help. I am trying to install Nvu onto my Fedora7 64bit box following instructions from the How To 'Perfect Desktop Fedora7' My first problem was the link to /xorg-x11-deprecated-libs-6.8.2-1.EL.13.37.5.i386.rpm did not work. I found a newer version in folder 5 (xorg-x11-deprecated-libs-6.8.2-1.EL.19.i386.rpm) which I installed. The Program itself installed ok but would not open. I tried using Terminal and got the following: $ nvu /usr/lib/nvu-1.0/run-mozilla.sh: line 159: 7048 Segmentation fault "$prog" ${1+"$@"} I tried various websites but unable to get an answer. Is that it is a 64bit system (It has plenty of memory and speed) or am I missing something? Thanks in advance. John
Thanks Falko, I found xorg-x11-deprecated-libs-6.8.2-1.EL.19.x86_64.rpm which required xorg-x11-deprecated-libs-devel-6.8.2-1.EL.19.x86_64.rpm which required xorg-x11-libs-6.8.2-1.EL.19.x86_64.rpm The Last installed ok 2nd failed with message error file /usr/include/X11 from install of xorg-x11-devel-6.8.2-1.EL.19 conflicts with file from package xorg-x11-filesystem-7.1-2.fc6 Tried more searching on Internet and found rpm.pbone.net but no packages for Fedora7. Tried one of the others (Suse) but the dependancy list was horrendous. If no further suggestions will have to cross off my most wanted list and go back to Dreamweaver. Thanks John
