I have some changes to the proftp_ispconfig.conf that I need to make. Where do I change the configuration in ISPConfig such that when the proftp_ispconfig.conf file is re-written my changes persist? Cheers, David
Thanks Till, that little bit of information will come in helpful. Now if I could impose on you to answer another question for me? If I had multiple VirtualHosts and I wanted to modify the configuration for a single VirtualHost, for instance, lets say that I wanted to restrict the users to ftp'ing only into their web directory. Normally I would change the DefaultRoot to ~/web. What do I need to do to achieve this while leaving the other VirtualHost entries with the default setting. Thanks again, David
This doesn't work with ISPConfig. You could change /etc/proftpd_ispconfig.conf manually, but your changes would get overwritten whenever you change something in ISPConfig.
Perhaps this could be added to the upcoming 3.0. Would be a handy little thing, since I like my user logins to be jailed but would love to un-jail (without editing) certain other users that are members of of a specific group. I know wishful thinking...
