Hello, I have installed ISPconfig3 on my Debian Lenny. I could use ISPconfig for create an ftp account. But when i connect on the ftp with the user/password created on ISPconfig : 530 error. In /var/log/proftpd.log : no such user 'test' Proftpd is supported by ISPconfig3 ? I have watched on /etc/proftpd/proftpd.conf and i don't see a reference for mysql (proftpd-mod-mysql) or other customization. Help me for resolv this problem (error 530).
Neither proftpd nor postgresql are supported by ispconfig. Please make sure that you follow exactly the perfect server guide to install your system. http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect-server-debian-lenny-ispconfig3
I have made a mistake. I don't use posgresql but proftpd with ISPCONFIG3. ISPconfig3 support what ftp program ? In this page http://www.ispconfig.org/index.htm on System Requirements : ProFTP as standalone version or vsftpd as inetd/xinetd/standalone version
The sytem requirements you linked above are for ispconfig 2, thats a totally differnt software then ispconfig 3. If you would have used the installation guide which tells you to install pure-ftpd, yoiu would have a working setup.
