    Hi everyone,
due to the fact that only one ftp user is quite a small number i would suggest to add the following feature to ispconfig:

support for ftp user based on mysql db in combination with proftpd.

This howto might be quite intresting:

    Hi,

I think a virtual Mail Setup (Exim + Postfix) and FTP (Purefetp + Proftpd) will be a good base setup for ISPConfig 3.0.

That comes in handy, as I'm about to prepare a howto for Proftpd and MySQL... :D

    Hi,

i talked to till about the following issue. the best would be - if possible - that proftpd should handle the users created in the native linux format AND virtuell users stored in a SEPARATE mysql database. Is there a way to configure proftpd to handle both?
