Hi guys, i use ubuntu 20.04 and ispconfig 3 on several servers. when i enable the protected folder to protect the folder /wp-admin is this working perfectly on one server. Do i enable protected folder on another server with this configuration: https://www.howtoforge.com/community/threads/autoinstall-ispconfig.87470/#post-426305 i dont get a popup to put my password and username. Is it possible that wp-rocket, or cloudflare gives a problem with the protected folder? I use additionally the plugin wp-hide-login which i use on the other server as well where its working well. I cleared the cache on wp-rocket as in my browser as well. Du you have any idea what i can do to get this working on the server? I tried as well to protect the whole website but this as well is not working.
Could be a problem on Cloudflare's side. By the way, iirc they have a function to protect wp-admin themself, you should look into that.
thanks a lot for your answer, you are right cloudflare offers some options for protect the wp-admin folder, so thats the best way to do it. in the cloudflare settings you can change the page rules: Code: browser integrity on security level high disable performance cache level bypass thanks for your good help again.
