    Hi guys,
    i am using ubuntu 20.04 according to:
    https://www.howtoforge.com/ispconfig-autoinstall-debian-ubuntu/
    I use logwatch and get the following entry:
    Code:
     Connection attempts using mod_proxy:
        117.13.174.163 -> www.voanews.com:443: 1 Time(s)
        119.60.104.211 -> www.so.com:443: 1 Time(s)
        140.224.65.10 -> cn.bing.com:443: 1 Time(s)
        20.223.130.227 -> www.hbomax.com:443: 2 Time(s)
        221.154.57.175 -> blog.naver.com:80: 1 Time(s)
        221.154.57.175 -> m.blog.naver.com:443: 1 Time(s)
        58.19.12.181 -> www.baidu.com:443: 1 Time(s)

    I did not install a proxy i only use the automatic installation of ispconfig.
    How someone can try to use proxy if its not installed?
    maybe you can give me some help with this matter thanks a lot

    As the message says, these are attempts and not successful usages of a proxy. So everything is fine and as it should be, there are all-day user or systems on the internet that attempt something when they connect to your server, that's the way the internet is and nothing to be concerned about. Proxying is a part of the apache web server and also of the nginx web server, so this should exist, but the system is configured correctly to not be an open proxy, as your log report shows.
