Would a Virtual Server work at Godaddy to install ISPConfig3? I plan to follow the CentOS Perfect Server documentation. Any special items I should check? Also their docs say you are not allowed to login as root but you can use su - Thanks
My own experience tells me not to go anymore with Centos due to the old software the upstream provider releases. ISPConfig seems to best working with Debian (both with lenny and squeeze). ;-)
Ubuntu 11:10? Are you happy enough with using ispconfig on Ubuntu? We are installing this on openstack virtualisation and the easiest to use is ubuntu.
In general, Ubuntu is fine, but 11.10 has a few bugs (for example saslauthd, see http://www.howtoforge.com/ubuntu-11...-authentication-failed-no-mechanism-available ).
